Curry County CEF Teachers

Our dedicated and trained CYIA teachers are the major part of the CEF work in Curry County, Oregon.   Their endeavors to teach the Gospel of Jesus Christ to the youth of this county is of great value to all of us.   As a matter of fact, their work is the best weapon we have in the spritual warfare of this world!

Meeting times are fun and profitable.    They are informal, and quite frequently they're held outdoors.   The children play games, sing, sometimes enjoy special treats, and Bible stories are shared and talked about.   A great time is had by all!

Ruth Wilson is a very experienced teacher at the Kalmiopsis School.  She taught as a 2nd grade school teacher there for many years, and since her retirement, she continues to teach in the Kalmiopsis school realease program.  Ruth has a heart for kids.  She says her priority for this coming year is "to pray for kids".  She adds that this should be "the year of the student"!

Nancy Bannick is one of the teacher~helpers at the Kalmiopsis school realease program.  (The Child Evangelism Fellowship policy is to have at least two adults at any realease program.)  Nancy's main function is to transport the kids as needed.  And when the program is in session, she helps monitor the kids' behavior and is a good listener as the kids work to learn Bible verses.

Also working with Ruth at Kalmiopsis is teacher Georgia Blank.  She is well-known for the interesting stories she presents that tell about the work and experiences of missionaries around the world.  She also leads the singing and is very much involved with the Bible studies.  Georgia loves the Lord, and her enthusiasm helps challenge the kids.
